BJC manufacture a wide range of conductor pins for tubular heating
elements. Often known as Terminal pins, or Cold Tails, these pins
determine the cold length of an element and are also the fixing point
for the external termination of the element. These pins are manufactured using automatic machines designed and built by BJC. Shown is a typical element with conductor pin exposed in cutaway area, and a selection of pins available. |

| Tolerances as small as ±0.025mm can be maintained if
desired, with the standard tolerance being ±0.05mm. Standard pin diameters are 2.34mm, 2.5mm, 2.64mm, 2.8mm, and 3.15mm. These pins are available as plain mild steel, or nickel coated. Other sizes and materials are available on request. |

Our range of
terminals shown are fully assembled with nuts and washers etc., but
are also available in unassembled form. These are in addition to a
wide range of proprietary terminals.
All terminals are spot welded using the highest quality welding equipment available. Each machine is also fitted with an electronic timer and weld checker to ensure our customers receive a fault-free finished product. |
